Time management have great importance to students' study success. Time management is about getting more value out of student's time and using it to improve the quality of their academic life. It teaches students how to manage their time effectively, and help them to set priorities and goals. Unfortunately, although time management is important but most of students have problems in manage their time. That's why, students usually have messy time management. Messy time management such as time wasted, lateness, and prioritizing may effect students' academic.
Time is a limited resource, there are only 24 hours in a day. Everyone gets the exact same amount of time each and every day. Most students feel like they have too much tasks to do and not enough time. Lack of time and the number of tasks are often blamed by most of students. In fact, most of them waste their time. That's why they need time management to helps & guides students use the time that they do have in better ways.
Being on time is one of the absolute basics in time management. Sadly, lateness is students' habit. Students who don't have spirit and motivation, they usually deal with lateness. It also happens when students have messy time management, they become undisciplined with themselves. Students have to avoid lateness, because it brings negative effect to students' academic performance. Students who are late tend to easily lose concentration in class, easily get panic, and unprepared.

Ability to identify tasks that require focus at the right time is a very important skill. When students can find out what they have to prioritized, they will actually do the tasks that needs their focus. Being efficient and effective will automatically lead them to achieve learning success.
Can be concluded that messy time management gives negative effects in students' academic. Students can learn the effects of their mess time management, and know how to deal with time, lateness, and prioritizing. So they can improve their academic performance by manage their time well.
